DESCRIPTION

• SQ 5000 Acrylic Prime is formulated with a special Pure Acrylic Polymer for the resisting of alkali and efflorescence properties. Free of mercury and lead. Moisture resistant is the best.

TYPE

• Modified Pure Acrylic Emulsion and very hard fillers to resist the alkaline and sea water. It has the water proofing. Adhesion power is the excellent.

APPLICATION AREA

• New and old masonry surfaces, wall plasters, brickwork and soft boards.

APPLICATION DATA

METHODS

• Airless or Conventional Spray, Brush, Roller

DILUTION

• Use Clean water
• 20-30% by Volume (Dilution is to improve the workability)

THEORATICAL COVERAGE

• 12-14 sq.m/Ltrs(80-90 sq.m/5 Ltr)

Wet Film Thickness

• 60-80 microns

Dry Film Thickness

• 30-35 microns

SURFACE PREPARATION

• Surface must be clean, dry and stable

Suggested Treatment

1. Dirt/Paint

High Pressure jet washes

2. Paint

Remove unstable old film by high pressure jet wash or scraper whichever is appropriate.

3. Moisture

High moisture causes paint defect.

4. Algae/Fungus

Removed by high-pressure wash and treat with CHEMIPOL (SANIPOL-75) solution.

Rinse again with clean water and leave to dry.

5. Oil/Grease

Clean off with mild detergent and a little solvent. Wash thoroughly to remove all trace.

DRYING TIME

• Touch Dry (30 minutes) 30°C

Hard dry (1 hour) 30°C

OVERCOATING TIME

• 4 Hours minimum in normal conditions

CLEANING

• Clean all equipment immediately with water after use.
